Tea set
The Chodziez porcelain manufactory was founded in Poland in 1852. This Art Deco constructivist tea and coffee set, made at the factory, was manufactured prior to the beginning of the Second World War. The service features a combination of round and straight airbrushed patterns in strong contrasting colours that recall the modern art movements such as cubism, constructivism and malevichism that were prevalent during the 1920s. The city of Chodziez was a notable centre for the pottery industry in Poland.
