This tea caddy is banded with a variety of multicoloured enamel motifs in the Pan-Slavic style. The firm of Kuzmichev was renowned for enamel work and produced pieces to be sold through Tiffany and Co. in New York who opened a Russian department in its Herald Street store in around 1885.
